Steve Cuntz former Xavier footballer

Sunday's Enquirer did a feature on the top 100 local companies. Coming in 9th was a company known as Bluestar with $905.6 million dollars in revenues. Cuntz serves on Xavier's Board of Trustees and he is pictured as being affiliated or heading the comapny. When I was a freshman at Xavier, I recall that he had been recruited by Tom Checchini from Lakota H.S (class of 1972) as a running back. Nice guy. Be nice to get Bluestar on board for bringing non-scholarship football to Xavier. And rebuild Xavier stadium. A guy can dream.

Bruce: Just saw a commercial on television for a Mark Sweeney auto dealership. Sweeney and his wife appear in the ad. He was Purcell H.S '72 and he was a QB also recruited by Checchini. Trying to remember if he stayed at XU after 1973 but be nice to get him on board.

Just saw in today's Enquirer that Bluestar is now 6th in area.
