2014 Update

Last Monday, the team had a meeting with the players and the coaches. Coach Powers introduced the coaches who include former players, Mike Morse and Nick Sexton. Mike Keller has been added to the staff and Walt Voline returns to coach the line. Former footballer and current Xavier Board Trustee, Mike Conaton, was also on hand as was Fr. Al Bischoff, S.J. who have both been big supporters of club football over the years. The team has been conditioning the week before school and as out of town players return to campus, Coach Powers has been running more drills on campus. Tues., Sept, 2, 2014 is club day on the mall and current players will be trying to recruit even more players on to the team. Coach Powers did indicate that the team might be adding two more games to the current 4 game schedule but whether that actually happens is a bit uncertain.
