Not participating as a member of the NCFA this year rather as an independent

As much as I appreciate the NCAA, Sandy Sanderson, and all of the other members over there as a new club, starting out, we cannot afford to put all of our eggs in one basket, guarantee that we can?t pay. We can?t afford to have guaranteed games right now and people get hurt.

I would much rather be able to have independently scheduled games that may not be at home, but rather at least football is being played we will stream all of our games independently via twitch or some other service so that fans can still get involved because we want to bring you all football .

Not sure what you mean about guarantee games as far as what I guess is the NCFA but I certainly understand the tenuousness of availability of players when the roster is limited. Xavier?s earlier club teams played JV teams from Hanover, Thomas More and Wilmington which were not NCFA games. Other non-NCFA games included Notre Dame College from Cleveland and Lincoln University. The former school went D-2 but the school is now closing. Perhaps the schedule could include both NCFA schools as well as others. Xavier?s inaugural club schedule in 2006 featured only three games. But it was a start.
