RIP Michael Conaton

 Huge loss for Xavier community as former football standout and Board of Trusree Member, Mike Conaton passes away. I  met him at a Xavier club football practice 16 years ago on Corcoran. A true gentleman and devoted Musketeer. I knew of his efforts in 1973 to save Xavier football. He had great stories about Xavier trainer, Ray ?Bucky? Baldwin.

So sorry to hear this. The Father Finn Society events are often held in the Conaton Boardroom in Schmidt Hall.

Ray Baldwin was the golf coach when I played on the team in the late 70s. He was a hoot!

Sorry to read this. i knew his daughters Cathy and Macaira. They were great women, and Macaira died much too soon. May Mike rest in peace.
