 Of interest as to the pluses of adding football. Certainly not seeking big time ambitions but just a way to attract students and enhance the college experience.

I would not have thought 777 schools are now offering football!

It would seem that many of these schools realize that football can offer a niche market for students and alums to support realizing that it doesn't have to be big time. Sort of the way it was when Xavier played local schools like Miami, Dayton, Bowling Green, Toledo, UC and Youngstown State. Most of these schools don't expect or need huge crowds to survive to have a game day experience.

I saw on Facebook a post showing Xavier's campus with Xavier stadium on it. Basically, an old Victory Parkway view.  One commentator (not me) opined that FCS football would be nice. Classes just started with the enrollment decline being noted. Maybe football gets another look.
